Matcha Experience at a Shabu-shabu/Sukiyaki Specialty Restaurant
In recent years, inbound tourists have shown a growing interest in Japanese cultural experiences, including matcha.
This new plan for international visitors combines all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu and sukiyaki with a live demonstration service where staff prepare and serve matcha at your table. Guests can enjoy an authentic Japanese experience after their meal.
The service will begin on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Mo-Mo Paradise Shinjuku-Higashiguchi, with plans for gradual introduction to other locations.
Using "Kyosui" Matcha from Kyoto Prefecture, Prepared at Your Table
We use "Kyosui" matcha from Kyoto Prefecture, known for its rich aroma, refined umami, and vibrant green color, making it a flavor that is approachable for international guests.
Our staff will prepare and serve matcha for each person at their table, one bowl at a time. Guests can enjoy a freshly made cup while watching the process of preparing matcha with a bamboo whisk up close.
During the serving, we will provide multilingual explanations, including English, on how to drink and appreciate matcha. Traditional Japanese confections will also be served to create a tranquil atmosphere perfect for concluding your meal.
